The master bedroom is the last vestige in our household. As in, it’s the last place to be decorated. I have no idea what I want to do in there. I spent a few hours pouring over my inspiration photos last weekend and there doesn’t seem to be a common thread in any of them.
So far I’ve added an area rug and I’ve stolen a headboard out of the guest room. However, I’m realizing that our family doesn’t fit into a queen-sized bed. And hopefully (fingers crossed) our family will get a bit bigger soon and, therefore so will our bed. Which means the guest bedroom gets it’s headboard back. It’s upholstered and I love it, but I also love the look of mahogany headboards.
And it would be nice not to need a bedskirt which always has a greasy body line around the edges from our lab, Gracie. (It’s as lovely as it sounds, I promise.)
Do you prefer wood headboards?
Or upholstered headboards?
I can never decide which I like better.
